This was an excellent book on the horrors of Gettysburg and how two young friends, one from the South and one from the North who lived through the battle of Gettysburg.

The writing was superb and very suspenseful. it was tough to leave it and come back. Would love to see it in a movie, although the battle scenes would be hard to take/5(33).

Two Girls of Two girls of Gettysburg book is a book about two girls who are cousins and when the civil war starts they find theirselves siding on different sides. I really liked this book because the way the author did the book it is just not one girl talking.

I really wanted to like this book. I've liked Lisa Klein's work in the past, and generally like historical fiction.I thought that the Civil War, particularly the Battle of Gettysburg, told from the point of view of two cousins on opposite sides could be unfortunately, this book was a mess.
